The developer of Tencent and Spec Ops, Yager, unite their strengths

Yager recently confirmed that the Tencent Chinese gaming company had invested in their business, but that the studio would continue to operate independently. The investment of an undisclosed amount will apparently help the developer to expand and expand his field of activity. Tencent knew a successful 2019 year and it is likely that investments in developers such as Yager and Platinumgames will continue to keep them throughout 2020. Spec Ops: The Line is now available for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC and it is RetroCompatible on Xbox One.

"We are delighted to join the Tencent's range of partners who reads as a game industry Who's Who," said Timo Ulmann, CEO of Yager. Tencent's investment "will significantly improve the scope of our business, not only by accessing Tencent's network and resources, but by exploiting the extensive industry know-how that Tencent has". The Yager's games have historically been examined but poorly sold, it is likely that Tencent's investment will help the company to be exposed via Tencent's streaming service, Epic Games Store, etc.

Tencent recently increased the number of developers with whom he works and encountered success with titles such as Call of Duty Mobile and Pubg Mobile. The developer has recently created a multiplayer game called The Cycle and it will be interesting to see if Tencent will contribute to a mobile version of the game. The recent investment of Tencent in PlatinumGames has allowed the self-publishing studio some of their own games, So it will probably help you prosper in the same way now that they have received their support.
