PS5 and PS4: State of Play probably next week with a big surprise
PlayStation fans are still waiting for a big show of Sony, which bet the lack of publisher on the E3 2021. So far, we only got some gameplay to Horizon Forbidden West and a small state of play in July, which mainly turned to Deathloop.
Next show very soon? Sony already announced that there will be several performances this summer. According to rumors, however, it could be so far as intended earlier. James Jarvis, producer of the Future Games Show, speculates that on Thursday next week, the 19 . August , a larger state of play will take place.

Attention: Even if James should own Jarvis insider knowledge, it can be any time that Sony moves the show backwards. We have experienced such spontaneous appointments in the last few months. It is funny that the announcement should take place today, that would be extremely early for Sony.
That could be seen on the state of play
Jarvis not only engages rumors when the State of Play is taking place, but also what is shown. He becomes very specific. Specifically, he calls three titles and a "surprise". It is probably the headliner, so it is well possible for some smaller games and indies to be presented.
- Horizon Forbidden West: We have already reported that Horizon Forbidden West may not appear anymore 2021. On the state of Play, Sony could make the shift on 2022 officially officially and maybe compensate with a new gameplay.
- Kena: Kena: Bridge of Spirits is one of the few smaller games that is currently pushed by Sony and whose release is imminent. We seem to expect a comprehensive gameplay trailer.
- Gran Turismo 7: On the official PlayStation side latter already a quest we could earn codes for a beta to Gran Turismo 7. However, these codes were useless. Maybe the beta on the Sony show is now official and the codes are keen. It could also give a new trailer.
- Surprising Announcement: It is probably a new annotation, a first look at a first-party project to the end of the presentation. Theoretically everything is possible.
No God of War 2? If Horizon Forbidden West appears in early 2022, this means God of War 2 presumably a release in the second half of the year. So it does not necessarily surprise if Sony will not show the title on the state of play. On the other hand, insiders were most recently that we finally see Gameplay in August. Maybe that's the big surprise.

Finally more PS5 consoles
Some games that should actually come exclusively for the PS5 brings Sony now for the PS4. One reason is probably that long time could not be produced as many consoles as planned. But that seems to be a conclusion.
Sony was able to secure enough chips to deliver more than 14 million consoles in the current financial year (until March 31, 2022). The following financial year (April 1, 2022 to 31 March 2023) even 22 million units of the PS5 should be discontinued.
What do you expect from Sony's next show?
