Halo Infinite: Leak in the Microsoft Store probably reveals the release

During the Xbox event on Tuesday Halo Infinite was surprisingly missing - Microsoft instead showed new Gameplay by Forza Horizon 5 and others. Nevertheless, maybe even today, more information about the shooter could stand. A leak in the Microsoft Store indicates that 343 Industries want to reveal the release of Halo Infinite.

For a few minutes, an appointment was found on the product page of the shooter. On 8 December 2021 Halo Infinite (Buy Now) should probably appear for PC, Xbox Series X / S and Xbox One. Quickly the date was replaced by a placeholder. Via Twitter, Tom Warren confirmed the release then again. It is conceivable that Microsoft plans the revelation tonight during the Gamescom Opening Night Live. The event can be followed in the LiveStream from 8 pm. Already in advance was announced that the Xbox Games Studios will be part of the show.

Only a few days ago, the developers said that some Halo Infinite features are not ready to wait in time for the launch. These are, for example, the Koop campaign, which will be submitted only within three months of the release. On the forge mode, players have to wait up to six months. Single player campaign and multiplayer - this time will appear with a free-2-play model - but are ready for the launch. Originally Halo Infinite should already come to the release of the Xbox Series X / S in November 2020 - the title then needed a little more time.
