Destiny 2: New catalysts make 3 exotics soon stronger
In Destiny 2, some exotics will soon be stronger, which do not need it. How do the players know which catalysts should come next to the Action MMO?
In Destiny 2, players can give their powerful exotics with so-called masterpiece catalysts the finishing touches and make them even stronger. Not all exos already have a Kat, so the keepers look forward each time other weapons finally get their final form.
This 3 exotics is: For equal 3 popular and strong weapons, new entries for catalysts have now been found:
- Divinity: The unusual lane rifle weakens enemies from the distance and enlarges its critical hit box huge. The support weapon is indispensable from endgame of Destiny 2 and mandatory for many RAID teams.
- Xenophage: Unlike the usual heavy MGS, Xenophage shoots only slow shots that are heavily reinhow, precise hits (and can not end up with it, but still there is full damage to enormous distance. The Power Weapon is Season for Season One of the most popular exotics throughout the game because it is easy to use and keep up in any activity.
- Monte Carlo: The exotic automatic rifle Monte Carlo is popular for its appearance and fully relies on melee action. Your beating skills are inviting you to quickly quickly and the damage rises for maximum if you kill an enemy in melee.
Databases have (again) spoiled
Where were the upgrades found? Destiny 2 players allowed to call up numerous game information in databases thanks to API interface, which are fed with official info. In the databases like Light.gg often hide new weapons, stories or quests that are not yet in the game itself. So now the information about the 3 Kats for the mighty exotics.
Striking is now that the wildcard icons have been removed for the catalysts and there are special images for divinity, xenophage and Monte Carlo in the databakices (via light.gg). Even the number of kills needed to perform the upgrade are visible - with xenophage, for example, 400 kills.
When is it so far? When the catalysts eventually come into the game, or what exactly the individual upgrades to the 3 already improve good exotics is currently unknown.
However, as Bungie officially announced that in the Season launching on August 24, there will be more strongly 15 primary weapons and some exotics would like to help with a new catalyst on the jumps, many players go from a release in the next season (via Via Bungie.net).
Destiny 2: Bungie suddenly is mad at Data Miner, but they say:
Old weapons are suddenly new monsters
That's why Kats are so great: New catalysts for old exotics can create a new weapon meta overnight. So hardly used exotics immediately after their upgrade suddenly really strong. Only because they got a new Perk thanks to the Kats or a weakness was repaired.
- That's how it looked at the Trinity Ghoul: Old Exotic suddenly belongs to the super weapons of the Season 11
- Suddenly death brawer was a hit: The new strongest rocket launcher of Destiny 2 is just the exotic that nobody wanted to play
Something unusual thing is that xenophage and divinity are also without your Kat absolute player favorites. Other weapons have surely needed the upgrade.
But our Meinmmo reader Millerntorian would be safe: "[...] Well, so if the existing items would get a Kat (from the Monte Carlo to the service offense), then I would be satisfied. Then I am also temporary synonymous nothing new. [...] ".
